As Enmei is also known as Hachiman, Alashimasa Shrine celebrates a festival in honor of this deity on May 15th, which is also the day of the annual mountain climbing event in the nearby Japanese Alps. The shrine's garden features several moss-covered stones with inscriptions from ancient times.
