Fukushima Island Shrine is a Shinto shrine located on the island of Fukushima in the Wakayama Bay, Ando City, Wakayama Prefecture. The shrine is famous for its beautiful vermilion torii gate and scenic coastal views. According to legend, the shrine was originally dedicated to the god of rice, Kushinoki no Okami, but was later renamed after the island's name, which means 'fox island'.
