Hakone White Shrine, dedicated to the Shinto god of fire, Ryujin, is situated at the foot of Mt. Hakone in the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park in Saitama Prefecture. The shrine's history dates back to the Edo period (1603-1867) and was rebuilt after being destroyed by a flood in 1935.
