Hachiman Shrine, located in Kinu City, Chiba Prefecture, is a significant Shinto site dedicated to the deity Hachiman-gami. As one of Japan's oldest shrines, it dates back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE). The shrine is famous for its association with the legendary Minamoto no Yoritomo, who is said to have sought the god's blessings before his military campaigns.

Visitor tip
