Located in the city of Namikata, Miyagi Prefecture, Dairokuten-jinja Shrine is dedicated to the god of learning and literature, known as Dairenokami. The shrine's name, Dairokuten, roughly translates to 'the second heavenly shrine.' It is one of the oldest shrines in the Namikata area and has a long history dating back to the Heian period. The shrine is famous for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture.
