Ako Oishi Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, dedicated to the memory of Ōishi Yoshio, the leader of the Forty-seven Ronin, a group of samurai who avenged their lord's death in 1703. The shrine is also associated with the legend of the 'Lion's Den' and the heroism of its followers. Visitors can walk through the beautiful gardens and see the majestic shrine torii gate. The shrine has undergone several restorations, including a major renovation after the Great Hanshin earthquake in 1995.
