Yagara Hachiman Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Tachia, Chiba Prefecture's neighboring prefecture but the original town was actually in Tachia's neighboring prefecture, Tachia's predecessor was the town of Yagara, now part of the city of Tachida, in Kanagawa Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to Hachiman Okami, a kami associated with war and protection, and is known for its wooden torii gate and traditional architecture.
