Wakamiya shrine

This Wakamiya shrine serves as a subsidiary shrine dedicated to the divine offspring or younger manifestations of the main kami, following the traditional Wakamiya ("young shrine") concept found throughout Japan. Worshippers typically come to pray for the protection and healthy development of children, as well as for guidance during life transitions and new beginnings. The shrine embodies the Shinto belief in the continuous renewal of divine energy through successive generations of kami.
