Takiyama Fudoson Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Shimoda, Shizuoka Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the god of good fortune, prosperity, and longevity, and is particularly famous for its beautiful vermilion torii gate. According to local legend, the shrine was built on the site where a former samurai leader took his own life, and the spirits of the dead soldiers are believed to reside at the shrine.
