Ishikawa

Located in the city of Kanazawa, the Higashi-ji Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. The shrine is situated on a hill overlooking the Asano River and features a traditional Japanese garden. Visitors can explore the shrine's main hall, which houses a large wooden statue of Amaterasu, as well as several smaller shrines dedicated to various regional kami.
