文化的背景
The shrine's primary enshrined deity, Oya-no-kami, is a kami associated with dance, fertility, and theater. The annual Oya-no-kami festival celebrates this deity with traditional dances, plays, and music performances. Locals believe that the shrine's location on the beach, known as 'beacheside shrines,' allows for better communication with the sea god, Oodama.
