Ise Grand Shrine's counterpart in the Nagano prefecture, Inari Okura Shrine honors the Shinto kami of rice and fertility. 文化的背景
This shrine is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates that form a tunnel up Mount Sengen. According to legend, these torii gates were erected by the kami themselves as a path for devotees to ascend the mountain and reach the deity's dwelling. Inari Okura Shrine also celebrates the annual 'Inari Matsuri' festival in September, where devotees carry giant bags of rice cakes through the streets.
