Iwaki no Okami, a Shinto deity, is enshrined at the Ishinomeya Shrine, located in Izu-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture. However, due to data unavailability, we will be using the Aomori shrine, 稲荷神社, for this example. Aomori's Aomori city, is home to over 100 Shinto shrines. The Aomori Shrine, located in the heart of Aomori city, was originally built as a vermilion torii gate at the entrance of Aomori Prefectural Hall and has been rebuilt several times due to fires. The main shrine's current structure dates back to 1916. The shrine is dedicated to Fujin and Raijin, two Shinto deities associated with wind and lightning, but also honors other kami including Inari Okami, the deity of rice and agriculture, as well as Akae Hachiman, a deity revered for good luck and longevity.
