Nagano

Located in the Japanese prefecture of Nagano, Tenjin Shrine is dedicated to the kami of learning and culture. Built during the Edo period, the shrine's current structure dates back to 1870, but it is said to be built on the site of an earlier temple that was constructed in the Heian era.
