岩船神社

Tokushima

Iwahana Shrine, located in the heart of Tokushima City, is dedicated to Iwa-no-kami, the god of mountains and earthquakes. Built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), the shrine's main hall features a distinctive curved roof and a large stone lantern. Visitors can explore the surrounding forest, where local legend has it that the god Iwa-no-kami resides.
