大谷神社

Shimane

Located in the city of Masuda, Shimane Prefecture, Takasago Shrine is dedicated to Inari Okami, the Shinto god of rice and fertility. This shrine is one of the many Inari Shrines found throughout Japan, with a history dating back to the 8th century. The current main hall was built in 1750 during the Edo period, featuring a distinctive five-story pagoda. Visitors can climb the famous stone stairs to the top of the pagoda for panoramic views of the surrounding area.
