熊野三柱神社

Shizuoka

Koyasan Okunoin Cemetery, not 熊野三柱神社, is famous for its en masse burials of new religious movement members in Japan. In contrast, the name 'Heiwa no Taki' which translates to 'Peaceful Waterfall', does have a different shrine, located in Shizuoka Prefecture: 熊野三柱神社, dedicated to the three deities of fertility and prosperity in Japanese mythology. The shrine is situated near the Kinugawa River and is known for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture. It is one of the oldest shrines in Japan, with a history dating back over 1,000 years.
