The Shrine of the Nine Deities, located in Ibaraki Prefecture, is a Shinto site dedicated to the worship of nine kami (deities). The shrine's architecture reflects the traditional Japanese style, with a main hall and several smaller shrines. According to local lore, the shrine was originally constructed in 711 CE by Emperor Mommu as part of his efforts to promote Buddhism in Japan.
