大歳神社

Located in the heart of Kyoto, the Daiso Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami Oinoye no Kami. The shrine's main hall features a unique wooden construction and a traditional torii gate. According to legend, the shrine was built to honor the spirit of a 9th-century Buddhist monk who converted to Shintoism and became a devoted servant of the kami.
