Located in the city of Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, Mebuki Yabusami Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of prosperity and good fortune, Yamabe-no-Okami. As one of Japan's most famous shrines, it attracts visitors from all over the world. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt in 1901 after being destroyed by fire in 1869, using materials from the original temple that dated back to the Heian period.
