榎白龍明神社

This small shrine is dedicated to a white dragon deity (Hakuryū), a powerful water kami believed to control rainfall, river flow, and agricultural prosperity in the mountainous Gifu region. Worshippers come to pray for bountiful harvests, protection from floods and droughts, and purification from spiritual impurities, as dragon kami are considered especially potent for cleansing negative energies.
