Located in the city of Hitachino, Ibaraki Prefecture, this shrine is dedicated to Inari Okami and has a long history dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE). As one of Japan's oldest shrines, it is known for its beautiful vermilion torii gate and tranquil gardens. The shrine is also famous for its many fox statues, said to be the messengers of Inari Okami.
