Ishikawa

Located in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Eight Saints Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the gods of the sea, specifically the three saints who saved a woman from drowning by taking on the forms of tortoises, otters, and badgers. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt in 1717 during the Edo period, but its origins date back to the early Heian period. It is known for its traditional architecture and beautiful gardens.
