Shimane

The Nishiyama Shrine, located in the town of Nishiyamachi, Shimane Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of rice and fertility, Nishiyama Okami, as well as various other kami such as Nishiyama Jinmu, Nishiyama Susanoo, and Ryujin. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period, with a main hall built in 1197, making it one of the oldest structures in the region.
