神明神社

Located in the city of Murakami, Niigata Prefecture, Godai Jinsha Shrine is dedicated to the Shinto god of agriculture and fertility, Godai Okuninushi. The shrine's main temple, Haiden, was built in 1729 and features a distinctive curved roof with wooden pillars. A secondary shrine, Honden, is said to house the deity's sacred mirror and staff. Visitors can participate in the annual Godai Matsuri festival in May, which includes offerings of sake and rice cakes.
