大頭神社

Shimane

Daito-sha is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Yasu, Shimane Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the kami Daito-no-Okami, the patron deity of the city and its surrounding areas. According to local legend, the shrine was founded by the legendary princess Tachibana no Nagakatsu's sister, who was said to have been received warmly by the god Daito-no-Okami for her humble nature.
