中沢天神天満宮

Ibaraki

Located in the town of Funakata, Ibaraki Prefecture, Tenman Shrine in Midzawa is dedicated to Tenjin, the Shinto god of learning and culture. The shrine was built in 1614 and features a unique, rectangular vermilion torii gate. This distinctive architectural style is typical of Kamakura-period shrines.
