Wakunoyoudo Shrine, located in Nagasaki Prefecture, is a Shinto temple dedicated to the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Senno Kannon. The shrine's name, Wakunoyoudo, literally means 'Temple of Peaceful Sound.' Founded during the Edo period (1603-1868), the shrine was originally constructed as a Buddhist temple but later converted to Shintoism.
