Resha-gi-jinja is a Shinto shrine located in the coastal town of Nihonmatsu, Ibaraki Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu and is famous for its beautiful architecture and stunning views of the ocean. 文化的背景

As a coastal shrine, Resha-gi-jinja is often visited on New Year's (Oshogatsu) to pray for good luck and prosperity in the coming year. The shrine is also famous for its unique ' sun goddess' festival (Taiju no Kunitachi), which takes place in January.

歴史

Established in 1744 by the local daimyo, Date Terumasa.
