Highly revered in the Tochigi region, High Priestess Shrine (高靇神社) is dedicated to Ōkuninushi no Kami, a Shinto deity associated with fertility and prosperity. Located near Lake Chuzenji, this shrine has been an important pilgrimage site since its establishment during the Nara period (710-794 CE).
