Located in the town of Kosaka, Niigata Prefecture, Hirosaki Jinsha is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of thunder, Susanoo no Mikoto, and his wife, Amaterasu omikami. The shrine's name 'Daytsu-jinsha' literally translates to 'daybreak shrine', symbolizing the dawn of new beginnings.

Hirosaki Jinsha is famous for its traditional wooden torii gate, which is said to be over 300 years old. During the Obon festival in August, lanterns are lit around the shrine's grounds to honor the spirits of the deceased.
歴史
The shrine was originally founded in 1625 as a memorial for the Niigata domain lord, Tokugawa Iyasu.
