Located in the city of Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Eight Humps Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sea god Susanoo and the wind god Fujin. The shrine's name refers to the eight humps on its torii gate, which are said to resemble the eight peaks of Mount Echizen. This shrine is one of the oldest in Ishikawa Prefecture, with a history dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE).
