Tokushima

The Shōroji Shrine, located in Tokushima Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese style with a vermilion torii gate and a wooden roof. While its founding era is unclear, the shrine is believed to date back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE).
