豊川閣妙嚴寺分祀(豊川稲荷)

Kanagawa

This shrine is a branch temple of the famous Toyokawa Inari complex, dedicated to Toyokawa Dakini-ten, a Buddhist deity syncretized with Shinto Inari worship and often revered as a fox spirit. While technically a Buddhist temple (Soto Zen), it functions much like an Inari shrine where devotees pray for business prosperity, financial success, and protection from misfortune. Visitors come to make offerings and seek the powerful intercession of Dakini-ten, particularly for commercial ventures and material well-being, following the traditional Inari worship practices despite its Buddhist origins.
