稲荷社

Kanagawa

This small Inari shrine is dedicated to the kami of rice, agriculture, and prosperity, where local residents and visitors pray for good harvests, business success, and household prosperity. As is typical of Inari shrines, worshippers often leave offerings of rice, sake, or sweet fried tofu (aburaage) believed to be favored by the fox messengers that serve the deity. The shrine serves as an important community spiritual center where people seek blessings for fertility, wealth, and protection of their livelihoods.
