須賀神社

Tottori

須賀神社 is a Shinto shrine located in Tottori Prefecture, dedicated to the worship of various kami including Sukagami-kami and Tottori no Okami. The shrine is situated near the mouth of the Nishinose River and is known for its traditional architecture and scenic views of Tottori Bay. Established during the Heian period (794-1185), the shrine has undergone several renovations and expansions throughout its history.

文化的背景

歴史

The shrine was founded in 828 by the regent who controlled the Imperial Palace during the reign of Emperor Shomu.
