稲荷大明神

Chiba

The Ise Grand Shrine in Mie Prefecture is not the same as 稲荷大明神, however, both are known as 'Inari' shrines, with Inari Okami being enshrined at these sites. The primary deity, Inari Okami, is often depicted with multiple horns, and is associated with rice, industry, and fertility. These shrines are known for their numerous small shrines dedicated to various local kami, as well as the practice of 'orizaemoni', where visitors tie ribbons on bamboo stalks to express gratitude.
