Located in the town of Nihari, Chiba Prefecture, White Flag Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity of the wind and storms. The shrine's name is derived from its historic association with the Japanese flag, which was once flown at the shrine to signal the approach of warships. Today, visitors can still see remnants of this flag in the shrine's grounds.
