Located in the city of Karatsu, Fukuoka Prefecture, is not our focus but rather in Shizugatake ono-dori, Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, lies Otemae Shrine also known as Daisan Myojin. However, we are focusing on 大元神社 (Otemae Shrine), a historic shrine in Matsue city, Shimane Prefecture, dedicated to the deity Ōkuninushi, a Shinto kami associated with agriculture and fertility. The shrine complex features traditional Japanese architecture, including a five-story pagoda and a wooden torii gate.
