Located in the town of Shibata, Miyagi Prefecture, Shiratori Jinja is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity of good luck and prosperity, Inari Okami. The shrine's main hall was originally built during the Nara period (710-794 CE), with several renovations made throughout its history. Visitors can explore the beautiful gardens and serene grounds, which are said to be an ideal spot for meditation and contemplation. Shiratori Jinja is also famous for its 'Shiratori no Mai' festival, held annually in May, where locals dress up in traditional costumes and perform a ritual dance to honor the kami.
