Located in the city of Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, Ryu Dragon Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the worship of Ryūjin, the Japanese dragon god. The shrine's architecture reflects its historical significance as a key stop on the Nakasendo highway, which connected Kyoto with Edo (modern-day Tokyo). The shrine's distinctive dragon-shaped roof and beautifully landscaped gardens are particularly noteworthy.
