文化的背景

Konpira Shrine is closely associated with the legendary Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a famous samurai who died at this shrine in 1189. According to legend, a beautiful woman named Tomoe was said to have appeared before Yoshitsune and convinced him to drink poison, leading to his death.
