Asahi Hikawa-jinja Shrine

Asahi Hikawa-jinja Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Kawaguchi-ku, Saitama, but also serves the neighboring city of Kawagooshi in Fukushima, however its main location in Kawaguchi-ku. The shrine is dedicated to the worship of Inari Okami, a kami believed to be the god of fertility, rice, and prosperity. Visitors can admire the shrine's traditional Japanese architecture, featuring a large torii gate and a wooden hall. The shrine is also famous for its 'Asahi Hikawa' lanterns, which are displayed during the autumn festival.
