Indo-Tibetan Buddhist priest, Sakyamuni Buddha's image is enshrined at Dewa Sanzan's Kammachi Shrine in Dewa, Akita Prefecture. The Indus Valley Civilization, dating back to around 2600-1900 BCE, influenced the region of Aomori and Akita.
