Kyūin-miyajō is a Shinto shrine located in Hyogo Prefecture, dedicated to the kami of the forest and the sea. The shrine's name translates to 'wooden plane palace.' It is believed to have been established during the Nara period (710-794 CE), although its exact date is unknown. Over time, the shrine has undergone several transformations, with significant renovations taking place during the Edo period (1603-1867 CE).
