瀧上神社

Miyagi

Tsukasa Hachiman Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the heart of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Dedicated to the storm god Tsukasa, it is known for its beautiful architecture and historic significance. The shrine's primary enshrined deity, Tsukasa Hachiman, is believed to have been instrumental in the defeat of the great storm of 1278, which threatened the city of Sendai.
