Hikarimaru-ha Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, that enshrines the soul of Hikarimaru, a young fisherman who died at sea. According to legend, Hikarimaru was born without hands and feet, but after his death, his body transformed into a boat, which is now enshrined at the shrine. Visitors can pray for safe passage at sea, successful fishing, or good luck in business ventures.
