比沼麻奈為神社 is a Shinto shrine located in the western part of Kyoto, Japan. The shrine's name is derived from its original location by the Nakanoshima Pond, which was once a major wetland area. The shrine is dedicated to the kami, Fujinryu no Kami, the god of wind and clouds. The shrine complex features a distinctive three-story pagoda and an ornate wooden gate known as 'fusuma'.

文化的背景
The shrine is famous for its association with the legend of Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a renowned samurai and regent of Emperor Go-Toba. According to myth, Yoshitsune was granted divine protection by Fujinryu no Kami before his death in 1189 CE.
