Nikko's famous Toshogu Shrine is located in the same prefecture, but Utsunomiya's Shinto shrine, Asamatsu Inari Okuribi Shrine isn't far, however the Utsunomiya Enma-den has a famous Utsunomiya shrine connected to the shrine of Aza no kami on the island of Oshima, which in turn is associated with Shimabara Island's, but not directly related to 浅間神社. 浅間神社, however, is known for its traditional autumnal festivals where visitors can dress up as fox spirits and dance in honor of Inari Okami.
