金比羅神社

Shimane

Located in the city of Matsue, Gold Pavilion Shrine is dedicated to the Shinto deity Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Inari Okami. The shrine's current architecture is based on a design from the Kamakura period. Its name refers to the gold-colored roof tile that adorned its original wooden structure.
